Our Weekdays in Kwangju Institute

It's been a week and a half since we've been here in Kwangju. Our schedules are crazy! We start teaching class at 7am, which means we have to get up quite early. We are at the institute by 6:45-50am for morning worship. We then teach our first class at 7am. I have my religion class at 8am and Dan has an hour break. Dan then teaches his religion class at 9am and I have an hour break before my next class at 10am. Dan teaches at 10am too and after we finish teaching we end up going home for lunch. Sometimes we stay at the institute because I have to prepare for my junior classes in the afternoon. When we get home it's usually between 11:20-11:50am. Whenever we walk to the institute we love stopping by to see the cutest puppies. There is a pet store on our way to the institute and we really enjoy watching the puppies. Anywho, by the time we reach home our gypsanim is finishing up making lunch for us. It's been so nice having her. She helps with the cleaning lots too! I am so happy to have her help us out! I stay home until 2:30pm and since I had vespers this last Friday I spent that time preparing for it throughout the week. I will post it up sometime soon. Since it was my first time speaking in public like that. I then leave to go teach my junior classes around 2:40pm. I start junior classes at 3pm and end at 6pm. Dan starts teaching juniors at 4pm-6pm and then again at 7pm. We walk home for dinner and then go back to teach. I teach my last class at 7pm and end at 8pm. Oh man! I so do not function well for teaching at that time! I've made so many mistakes in that class! I say good morning, when it's not. I start teaching the wrong days lesson...etc. But at least I show up for my classes, unlike Dan! :) Dan missed 2 of his junior classes this last Thursday by just forgetting about them. Not like he meant too. Anywho, Dan starts his last class at 8pm and ends at 9pm. I wait for Dan in the staff room while he teaches. I prepare for my morning classes then. We usually get home around 9:30pm and usually don't go to bed until 10:30-11pm. We are averaging 5-6 hours of sleep. Something I am definately not used to. We are really happy when it is Friday, because we get off at 11am and don't come back to the institute until 6:20pm for vespers at 7pm. I keep telling myself it is only for one term, but I only hope next term my schedule is better. I think that it will be better once I get the hang of things, since things are still new to me.
